Working Principle
The rake-type vacuum dryer consists of stirring shaft, drum, transmission system, and sealing components. Drying heat is primarily supplied through the stirring shaft and drum jacket, with indirect heating causing moisture vaporization that is promptly removed by vacuum systems.
Operation begins with wet material loading into the dryer. Heating medium (steam, hot water, or thermal oil) is introduced into the jacket while vacuum pumps establish specified vacuum levels (50-90 kPa). The stirring mechanism then activates to ensure uniform drying.
