Heavy calcium carbonate introduction:

Heavy calcium carbonate, referred to as heavy calcium, is made by grinding natural carbonate minerals such as calcite, marble, and limestone. It is a commonly used powdered inorganic filler with the advantages of high chemical purity, high inertness, not easy to react chemically, good thermal stability, no decomposition below 400°C, high whiteness, low oil absorption, low refractive index, soft, dry, no crystal water, low hardness, small abrasion value, non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, and good dispersibility.

Heavy calcium carbonate disc dryer:

The disc continuous dryer is a highly efficient conduction-type continuous drying equipment. Its unique structure and working principle determine that it has the characteristics of high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small footprint, simple configuration, convenient operation and control, and good operating environment. It is widely used in drying operations in the chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, food, feed, agricultural and sideline product processing and other industries.

There is no need to equip the cyclone dust collector required for spray drying, and hot air is not used as the heating medium. Therefore, there will be no product loss caused by the poor separation of hot air and dust entrained in the exhaust gas.

 

Technical characteristics:
Drying plate

1. Design pressure: generally 0.4MPa, up to 1.6MPa.
2. Maximum operating pressure: generally ≤0.4MPa, up to 1.6MPa.
3. Heating medium: steam, hot water, thermal oil. When the drying plate temperature is ≤100℃, use hot water for heating. When it is 100℃~150℃, use ≤0.4MPa saturated water vapor or superheated steam for heating. When it is 150℃~320℃, use thermal oil for heating. When it is >320℃, it can be heated by electricity, heat transfer oil, molten salt, etc.

 

Material conveying system:
1. Spindle speed: 1~10 rpm, electromagnetic or variable frequency stepless speed regulation.
2. Rake arm: There are 2~8 rake arms fixed on the main shaft on each layer of drying plate.
3. Rake blades: Hinged on the rake arm, can float up and down with the plate surface to maintain contact, and there are many forms.
4. Rolling: For materials that are easy to agglomerate or need to be crushed, adding rolling at appropriate positions can enhance the heat transfer and drying process.


Shell:
1. Normal pressure type: cylindrical or octagonal, with two structures: integral and split. The main inlet and outlet pipes of the heating medium can be inside or outside the shell.
2. Sealed type: cylindrical shell, can withstand 5Kpa internal pressure, the main inlet and outlet pipes of the heating medium can be inside or outside the shell.
3. Vacuum type: cylindrical shell, the design pressure is 0.1MPa external pressure, the main inlet and outlet pipes of the heating medium are inside the shell.
