Roses in Chinese taxonomy generally refer to roses with a strong rose fragrance and bloom once or more times a year (most rose varieties only bloom once a year, and only a few varieties such as the Fenghua series roses in China's Pingyin roses can bloom multiple times a year). Usually, roses are densely covered with thorns, with multiple flowers per bud. After the branches are cut, the flowers will wilt quickly, and the longest time will not exceed half an hour. Therefore, roses are not suitable for fresh cut flowers. In addition, most rose varieties have a strong rose fragrance.
